Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi voiced strong condemnation of the Israeli regime and the United States for their alleged atrocities against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. During a phone call with Turkmen President Sardar Bardimohamedov, Raeisi expressed deep concern over the oppression and crimes inflicted on the people of Gaza, stating that these actions had stirred not only the anger of Muslims worldwide but also that of people around the globe.

Raeisi emphasized the urgent need to leverage all available resources to provide assistance to the oppressed people of Gaza. The comments were made against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict initiated by the Israeli regime on October 7, responding to actions by Gaza's resistance movements. The toll on Palestinians, particularly women and children, has been severe, with nearly 20,000 casualties reported.

Highlighting the unwavering support of the United States for Israel, Raeisi asserted that Washington's provision of over 10,000 tons of military equipment and its consistent vetoing of UN Security Council resolutions calling for an immediate ceasefire underscored the extent of the alliance.

In a shift to bilateral relations, Raeisi expressed satisfaction with the significant growth in ties between Iran and Turkmenistan, particularly in trade. He stressed the importance of implementing agreements reached during the countries' joint economic commission meeting, covering areas such as energy, transportation, and transit.

President Bardimohamedov reciprocated the positive sentiment, expressing contentment with the expanding political, economic, and cultural ties between the two nations. He conveyed Ashkhabad's readiness to enhance cooperation levels and implement bilateral agreements for mutual benefit.
